The normal Windows command terminal, CMD, is replaced with the standalone offline installation for JP Software TCC, which may be downloaded for free.
JP Software Overview Our console-mode Windows command shell, TCC (previously known as 4NT), is available here. The CMD command line, which is the standard Windows command prompt, is replaced by TCC. With 695+ internal variables and functions, 246 internal commands (CMD has fewer than 40), and hundreds of improvements to existing CMD commands, TCC is a superset of CMD.
While TCC is compatible with your current batch files and command-line programs, it also adds thousands of new features to your command prompt windows and greatly enhances their capabilities.

Keystrokes can be sent to any application (GUI or console).
With expanded directory searches, you can find any directory on your system by just typing a portion of its name.
TCC comes with built-in commands for extracting and compressing ZIP, 7ZIP, TAR, JAR, GZIP, and BZIP files.
You are able to access directories via FTP, TFTP, and HTTP (including SSL and SSH).
