An overview of Windows’ ElectraSoft FaxMail
It’s a small piece of software that makes it easier to send and receive faxes over the Internet, email, or modem. Incoming faxes, including TIFF or PDF files, can be forwarded to a designated email account.
Numerous configurations, such as the modem connection properties and owner information, must be made during the installation. After then, the application becomes part of Windows autostart sequence and starts up automatically each time you switch on your computer. Later on, you can use the options panel to disable this.
Fax covers can be edited, faxes can be sent to a large number of recipients, and faxes can be imported using OCR. Program settings allow you to create session log files, modify the date and time format, minimize the systray, show notifications on incoming faxes, and run the program as a service.
